Securities and Brokerage
Shareholders Service Group is the “introducing firm” between Button Financial investment management and the brokerage services firm of Pershing, LLC where client funds are held and traded. Pershing also serves as custodian for retirement plan accounts. Pershing provides these services to institutions and not individuals, so it is not a household name. However, they are one of the largest brokerage services firms in the world. Through Shareholders Service Group, Maxwell Wealth Planning is able to provide daily downloads of client account activity. On-line access to accounts is also available for Retainer Clients of Maxwell Wealth Planning.
Charles Schwab is an institutional and a retail provider of brokerage services. Some clients who would like Maxwell Wealth Planning to assist on an occasional basis may open retail accounts and give Neil Maxwell a limited power of attorney to access these on-line accounts.
